RECEPTION OF FRESH OLIVES
The design of these lines is conditioned by the foreseen capacity and other factors such as the ripeness of the olives, or the harvesting technique.
YARKI usually designs automatic lines with electronic sorting machines, which have nowadays reached a high level of technology and reliability when high capacities are required (more than 10.000 Kg/h).
The standard line comprises reception hopper, machine for removing the branches, turbine for removing the leaves, precalibrating machine for removing earth material and not commercial sizes of olives, inspection belts (or electronic sorting machine) for separating green, purple and black olives, and treatment tanks for treating with soda the olives before sending them by gravity to the underground fermentation tanks.
The standard capacity of these lines is between 10 and 20 tonnes per hour.
FERMENTATION OF GREEN OLIVES
The cost-effective solution for the fermentation and storage of the olives are the big PRFV tanks (Polyester Reinforced with FibreGlass). Their capacities range between 16 y 22 m3, and they can be aerial or underground tanks.
In this case, our services are centred on:
- The chemical composition of the tanks (adequate materials for food applications, bearable load, and long-life of the tanks).
- Co-ordination of the shipping, choosing the best freight.
- Quality control of the assembling (using adequate materials, drying resin under atmospheric conditions, pores inspection and permeability tests.)
- Project and management of the civil works (pit, drainages, foundation of the tanks, levelling, burying, compacting, sealing...)
